Meet Deanna & Sean Johnson.

At Revel & Cheer, we take our wedding coordinating very seriously. We make sure contracts are in order, vendors are informed, present, and prepared, your timeline is scheduled appropriately, and the setup is the vision you created. Above all else, we make sure that YOU are the priority when it comes to your wedding day. We are here to execute & deliver the day that you worked so hard to plan!

Deanna and Sean were just recently married in October 2018, and so the challenges that come with planning your own wedding and finding a thorough, professional day of wedding coordinator still ring true to us. We dealt with the stress of single handedly searching through countless vendors to find the best services at the best values. We held multiple interviews and handpicked our wedding coordinator after days and days of online research through website after website. We built binders with page after page of well thought out, written wants, needs, and instructions. And you know what? We still were burned by poor customer service and laziness.​

Communication is the most important quality for an event to succeed. The coordination required to keep sometimes dozens of vendors working together and smoothly is a task that should not be taken lightly. The lack of communication from coordinators and vendors, even after the endless searching, left us reeling. We saw the need for professionalism in the wedding coordinating industry. We set out to make it not only our business, but our own personal goal. You will not find a day of wedding coordinator that works harder for you!

Throughout our wedding planning searches, we have made a lot of contacts with local vendors in Baton Rouge, New Orleans, and the surrounding areas. If you have any questions, just ask us! We did our homework so you don’t have to!

In addition to coordinating, Deanna is a practicing attorney in Baton Rouge. After spending many years in the service industry, Deanna earned her law degree from Loyola Law School in New Orleans and set out to utilize her law degree as much as possible. Deanna has assisted individuals in divorce, community property, custody and support matters and now practices insurance defense. Deanna's lawyer skills bring a unique quality to her ability to coordinate weddings. She has a heightened knowledge of contracts, is able to eloquently negotiate with vendors, and is loyal to the needs and desires of all her couples.

Sean graduated from LSU in Construction Management in 2013. He has worked in Project Controls for over five years, where his job is to ensure projects stay under budget and on schedule. He has worked in many chemical plants and oil refineries from Lake Charles to Meridian, MS, but now enjoys working locally in the Baton Rouge area.
