Do you know a manager, leader, or business that can benefit from outside consulting services? Then you might be interested in the following referral program. Since referrals go a long way in making this business successful, I believe that I have a responsibility to reward the source of the referral. That is you. I understand that you are taking a risk with your recommendation, and will work hard to make sure that you and the people you refer me to look good. Here is how I’ll reward you for your work:
- Give me a name. If you think someone might benefit from consulting, but are not sure how to approach them about it, feel free to drop a name and a means to contact them. If I am able to speak to them and they become a client, I will give you 2% of the initial contract.
- Make an introduction. If you are certain someone can benefit from my company, and make a personal introduction presenting me, my company, and what I can do, then I will give you 8% of the initial contract when they become a client.
- Get them to contact me. If you recommend me and my company to a potential client you know very well, and get them to contact me and request services, I will give you 15% of the initial contract when they become a client.
Here are the terms: You will get paid promptly when I get paid. You will not get paid for a referral to a company that you work for. That is a conflict of interest and morally questionable since it does not improve the condition of your company.
